congratulations k-9 rex!

On Tuesday, January 03, 2023, the South Londonderry Township Board of Supervisors proclaimed the date to be "Officer Rex Day" in recognition of "His outstanding career and dedication to keeping the Township and our residents safe....."

Rex was able to retire after eight years of service with his handler, PTL Nicholas Ague.  The Department extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Nick and Rex for the years of dedicated service.  Rex will be missed.

​The South Londonderry Township Police Department is an official drop-off location for unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications. Help keep these items out of the wrong hands. Items can be dropped off in the Police Department reception area during regular business hours (7:30 am-4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, Holidays excluded).  Medications can be left in their respective containers, with the name blacked out or removed. 


Cycling Safely in South Londonderry Township.  Some tips on:
