The successful applicant must meet the minimum requirements:
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Have successfully completed a PA Municipal Police Academy (Act 120 training)
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be a United States Citizen
• Possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
• Be able to perform all of the duties of a Police Officer
The minimum testing requirements will include, but not be limited to:
• Oral Examination(s)
• Extensive Background Investigation to include credit history
• Medical Exam and Drug Screening
• Psychological Testing
• Polygraph Examination

Salary:
- Full-time, Step 1 police officer salary shall be as set forth in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, which in 2021 is $67,469 / year.
